Corporate social responsibility - Jané

Corporate social responsibility

As a company, we’re aware that we are also responsible for building a fairer and more equal world and for trying to make it even better for future generations. This is why at Jané we contribute our little grain of sand to different actions or projects that fight for this goal, be they local or global.

Jané Educa

Jané Educa is our own programme that aims to raise awareness in students from different schools on the importance of correctly using child restraint systems in cars and the proper use of safety belts. Ever since it started, over 10,000 students have visited us and learnt more about road safety.

International projects

For many years, Jané has collaborated with UNICEF in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to distribute hundreds of thousands of mosquito screens. In this country, malaria, a disease that is spread by mosquito bites, is the main cause of death for children under five. Thanks to this alliance and collaboration, we’ve made great progress in lowering the impact of this illness.

Micro-projects

We are also proud to contribute to charity projects in the field of childhood research. We are extremely sensitive to babies who suffer from medical issues. Because of this, we’ve decided to contribute as much as we can to solve these issues so they may have a brighter future.

We collaborated with the author Carolina Pinedo del Olmo on her book La aventura de Dido, el cangurito explorador (Dido's Adventure, the Little Kangaroo Explorer) , which was presented at the Vall d’Hebrón hospital in Barcelona. This is a solidarity project in support of newborns through which the families can scan a QR code to listen to stories and lullabies while they practice kangaroo care with their babies.

Donating products

Jané has collaborated on many occasions by donating products to help a wide range of charitable associations, an altruistic practice which helps underprivileged groups, with the goal of helping families who are in need.
